haha, thanks! I think my camera was set to use the "lowest possible" ISO - which it must've calculated, in its wisdom, to be 249.
I haven't done any panorama shots before, no - but it wouldn't really have been possible to shoot the rest of the window, as the lower half of it is covered up.
@manek43509 Don't worry about the bottom, the photo is perfect framed just like it is. Only, at 3,000 pixels tall this photo could really only be printed at about 10" tall.
However, as a vertical panoramic photo it could be as much as about 12,000 pixels tall meaning you could make a 40" print. Now *that* would be impressive.
I have a CD around here somewhere for PhotoStitch, which is a really good pano program. It works with all kinds of photos from P&S's as well as DSLR's. If you want to give it a try, I could either drop it in the mail to you or just give it you when I'm there in August.
Have you ever done panoramics before? This would have made an amazing vertical pano.
