@wiesnerbeth, yes! LOVE playing handbells. It's like being inside a huge instrument. And there's no way you can think about something else while you're doing it.
@margonaut I wish I was musically inclined . . . I need an activity that would force me not to think of other things. Oh btw . . . I tried the apple Brown Betty recipe from the pioneer woman. I was a bit skeptical. The breadcrumbs didn't seem quite right, but it was pretty close to my 5th grade memory! Thanks!
@wiesnerbeth there were plenty of other Brown Betty recipes out there in google-land, but the Pioneer Woman usually knows her stuff. Also, you should consider taking some African drumming lessons. SO much fun and you don't have to know anything about music. But like handbells, it's impossible to think about something else while you're drumming.
