Some of my very favorite books

My sister-in-law's sister-in-law wrote a musical based on The Quiltmaker's Gift that they performed one night at their church. I didn't get to see it, but my SIL said it was great. Have you read "The Bedspread"?

@wiesnerbeth I'm sure it was a wonderful play. No, I haven't read The Bedspread. Heading off to amazon now...

@wiesnerbeth I'm back. 1982? Wow, looks just like my kind of book but it's pretty expensive. Think I'll check out some other sources. I love a book with great illustrations. That's what these all have in common. If you haven't seen A Small Miracle, I highly recommend it. Makes me laugh and cry every time and there's not one word in it.

@margonaut I will look for A Small Miracle -- I have been using a lot of wordless books with my students this year. I recommend The Farmer and the Clown in the no words category. I might have an extra copy of The Bedspread -- you will love the story! My sewing room is a total disaster but I will look for it.
