another Atlanta snowfall

with wind chill near zero. Our house is old and drafty. Can we PLEASE be finished with winter now?

I know the feeling! We hit records lows in Baton Rouge, LA. We had to drip our water all night for several nights and one shower still froze. And the interstates were all closed.

I’ll take your winter weather — I could use a few snow days off from school so I can do a little sewing!

@wiesnerbeth I would gladly give it to you, but I'm sure you've had worse! Everyone here is up in arms over all the snow days taken. Now they're going to have to cancel "winter break". Unfortunately, Atlanta doesn't have the resources to deal with ice. They treat the major roads and highways, but side streets are treacherous, so school is canceled even when most of the snow has melted.

@margonaut Virginia can’t handle the snow either, although I imagine that it’s maybe a little better than Atlanta. We are also off for even the slightest bit of snow or sometimes just if it’s bitterly cold. As a teacher/librarian in a school I love it.
