My Jimmy Carter quilt

in Quilting Arts Magazine!
Congratulations! Looks like an amazing quilt. And he is an amazing man. I saw a news story about him recently, talking about all the things he has done in his retirement. He's made a huge difference in many ways.

I have to go find that issue — is it the most recent?

@wiesnerbeth yes, with the pet portraits on the cover. Plus there's a wonderful article about my friend Jeanne (70273 founder) and the art she makes with her sister-in-law. It's an amazing story.

@eudora He and Rosalynn have led an incredible life. This quilt is part of a human rights exhibit called OURstory. The log cabin background refers to his work with Habitat for Humanity.

@margonaut Very effective way to remember his Habitat for Humanity work. Wonderful organization. I always encouraged my kids to get their service hours by working for Habitat.
