I got to Paducah just in time to sit through a tornado, huddled in a closet with my sister's dogs. The church had 40 kids in a preschool class at the time it was hit.
@margonaut We used to live in Columbus, Ohio, and the first time the sirens went off I was in my office talking on the the phone with my weird, weird boss (who was out of town). I was under my desk cowering and he kept asking me to go get files or something stupid. I was crying and it was only a warning or a watch, but the siren was across the street. It was awful. So I understand the freaking out! Glad you are ok!
