@wiesnerbeth yes, it was a windy day, that part is the sky. seemed appropriate. I took a workshop from Diane Gaudynski many years ago. She called those "hairbands", they're fun to do. I tried to make them all go in the same direction since they represented wind coming off the ocean, but it's also fun to do them in all different directions.
