Shocked when I drove by

and saw that a tree had fallen on a friend's house. They're selling it. Had just signed a contract the day before.

@wiesnerbeth Nobody was living there at the time. And apparently only damage was to the roof, nothing inside. Still, wish I hadn't seen it. I have my share of very old trees.

@margonaut My mom just had a tree fall on her shed. She lost a lot of the trees in her yard a few years ago when a tornado came through her neighborhood, so I didn’t think there were many left to fall. She’s very sentimental about the trees and the shed (my dad built it and spent a lot of time out there “thinking”). Old trees are so beautiful, but worrisome.
