I did not not take many shots today, and I was not really happy with them, so I have decided to post another three from Wednesday at New Brighton.
This shows the height that the waves were reaching as they smashed into the sea wall. The two people give some sense of scale. If you look at the sea wall, and the bracing supports every now and then, that was where I was stood when I was hit.

that sea wall must be very strong! We need a wall like this along part of our coastline which is falling into the sea because of wild waves like this! Fabulous shot!
