I actually wasn't even trying to photograph this couple. I was stood in Liverpool city centre, photographing the street entertainers. I had just missed a lady in a bright red coat dropping money into the hat. Then I spotted the lady in the light coloured coat approaching, money clenched in her hand, just as I framed the shot, this couple quickly walked past, right next to me. I had automatically clicked the shutter, before I even realised they were there. As I saw them I thought that's another useless shot.
