SILLY SEASON by markp

SILLY SEASON

It's the middle of October, the time for cool misty mornings, dew covered spiders webs adorning the bushes and long grass. Yet today I have got Red Admiral and Large White butterflies enjoying the warm sunshine in the garden. I am also 90% sure I saw a yellow Brimstone butterfly fluttering through the garden. There is also a large selection of various flies and Hover-flies around.
While I was out and about on Thursday there was a large Dragonfly zooming around.

Sure seems to be silly season.
