Despite there being plenty of goodies on offer from various feeders around the garden, this Robin appeared to prefer a more natural diet. After watching him rooting around in the undergrowth, he emerged with a beak full of stuff.
Looking very closely on the maximum zoom, it seems he has got quite a large selection of various flies, spiders, bugs, a caterpillar and a very big grub of some kind.
I am sure to him it will taste lovely.
I am very short of free time at the moment so for now, I am mostly shooting just in the garden. Here are some more from the garden today.....
Makes me wonder, did he catch them all at one time and, if so, where does one find such an amazing collection of varied, grubby life forms and, if not, how did he hold on to one while catching the next...
