This is Carradale Bay on the Kintyre Peninsula. There is nearly as much beach behind me as there is in this shot. I stayed here for four days, about 100 yards from the beach. Apart from one afternoon, when I got involved in a Sea Trout monitoring survey, which attracted a few people, I basically had this whole beach to myself most of the time. The maximum number at any one time I saw on here was 5 people and a few dogs.
