This little beauty is one of a flock of Goldfinches
( Carduelis carduelis) that visit the feeders in the garden. There is a regular group of 10 or 12 calling in, but have had as many as 18 at any one time. A flock of Goldfinches is called a Charm.
A charming name indeed.
