NECK END

I took one of the Grandmonsters, down to a local canal with some bread and I thought I might get some nice shots of her feeding the birds. We walked down the canal to the shallow end, the birds, used to being fed, spotted the bag and we were followed by a squadron of swimming swans, a large gaggle of geese and a raft of ducks. In the air were flocks of pigeons and seagulls all awaiting a feast. I sat down, Monster stood next to me and we were immediately surrounded by 20 swans who did not want to wait, pecking and biting me and the bag before it was open. Trying to take photos, feed the birds and retrieving fingers from beaks, at the same time, was quite problematical to say the least. Willow just stood there laughing her head off at all the silly antics.
Amazing capture! Thank you for risking appendages for this wonderful shot! Love being eye to eye with this beauty.
