I put the camera into the car to go and get a photograph somewhere, I looked up. Wow ! The large Buddleja bush in the front garden was just alive with bees and butterflies, Whites, Tortoiseshells, Peacocks and Red Admirals. Camera out of car, and loads of shots taken. This is a Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanata) enjoying tea.
Super photo! I just spent 30 minutes in the garden trying to get a Red Admiral to sit still long enough for me to get a decent photo! Got a bumble bee on the clover instead!
