Well, what a long day. Up at four thirty AM ! Met up with a friend and we cycled to Warrington Station, six fifteen train to Oxenholme in the Lake District. Cycled down to Kendal and on to Windermere for breakfast. Then headed north towards Ambleside, then south to do a loop of Lake Coniston, up and over Hawkshead and dropped down to the West shore of Lake Windermere. Followed the road south around the lake right back to Windermere in time for a well earned tea. Leisurely ride back to the station having a look round Kendal on the way. Home just after nine. Fabulous ride, just a quick hundred miles. Fantastic scenery and views. Loads of pictures taken. So why is a Scottish sheep todays post ? Well I only took my iPhone, and fortunately I downloaded them before I went to bed and it appears I have done something to the lens on the camera. All the photos were fuzzy so a quick look round and I saw the sheep, so snap snap and there you have it. At least it was taken on the right day. Looking on the positive side at least I have a good excuse to do the ride again, with a working camera.
Bless his woolly socks !!!--- he deserves a bowl of his favourite grass fir tea !! Shall look forward to your return trip with as you say a decent camera !!
