STANDING ON THE SIDE

This is another visitor to the garden, busy tucking into his dinner is a Coal Tit ( Periparus ater). These are smaller than Blue Tits, and rather than eat at the feeder are more likely to grab something and dart off to either eat it in peace, or also they will hide food for harder times. There is a Blue Tit in my other album today.

Another lovely shot. I've had lots of tits in my garden today including long tailed tits but no coal tits.

I like the way you've captured the bird holding onto the feeder

@rosiekind Thank you very much Rosie, I had Long-Tailed Tits as well but they were not up to posing today.

@barbarajdonnellan Thank you very much Barbara and thanks again for the Fav. Wonderful garden, mmmm ? It is quite large and managed for wildlife, however that could be another way of saying messy, untidy, and full of weeds, but that with the feeders does bring in a very large variety in good numbers.

@milaniet Thank you very much Milanie

@cljs Thank you very much Chris.

Oh how I love a good wildlife photo! A messy garden is the least I would give for all those pretty birds to visit my garden...
