SLUMBERING SNAILS by markp

SLUMBERING SNAILS

Doing a bit of work around the garden, I saw a small piece of wood leaning against a wall. I picked it up to move it and discovered this group of snails, sheltering from the worst of the winter, their shells were sealed and they were fast asleep. I got a few shots and then returned them to where I had found them to continue their hibernation in peace.
It's like they set up their own still life for you. Very nice!
