One of the juvenile Robins that are in the garden, this one is still waiting for the small downy feathers to moult out into adult plumage. I said her, because I think this could be a female.
Adult Robins can be very difficult to sex, but one difference that is sometimes visible is that the red breast is smaller and the lower white feathers extend up into the red breast. As you can see in this shot, that is true of this bird.
It is much easier from a photograph, than when they are busy bobbing around the garden.
I have posted another Robin today, I think that one is a male.
