THE FLIGHT OF THE VERY EARLY BUMBLEBEE -ONE

Beautiful sunny almost warm day, so out into the garden and hoping the nice light would help me get some nice shots of either Goldcrest, Wren or a Robin. Although I saw all these today, sometimes very close up, they seemed to have developed some form of camera phobia today.
While I was sitting there waiting for something to appear near my chosen perch, I was very surprised to see this very early bumblebee fly into shot.

These shots were taken using a long lens, if I had known he was going to hang around for as long as he did, I would have gone and got the macro lens.

Trying to identify him, was interesting, full story here....
