This is where I was supposed to be cycling to yesterday, before I changed my plans. This is the River Findhorn, and I am looking up Strathdearn.
This little tree, I think it is a Juniper, looks totally dead apart from at the very top, at the bottom, it is all twisted and dried up.It is hardly attached to the ground by it's roots, I think at some time, it has almost been ripped out of the soil by strong flood waters.
