STEAMING AT NIGHT by markp

STEAMING AT NIGHT

I have been after a shot like this for a while, first I had to find a spot to give me this view. Then I had to wait for the weather to be right, when I had time to get here. Then first time I tried I got the settings all wrong, rubbish. Then I decided to wait for a near to full moon to cast some light on the towers. Finally in the early hours everything seems to have come right. In case you don't know this is Fiddlers Ferry Power Station.
Incredibly interesting ... and almost eerie. Very nicely captured!

Gorgeous Mark. I think that a Fav is in order here. Have you tried in B&W? It looks rather spectacular.

@dh Thank you very much Delena, its taken from the A5080, South Lane, you go down past the Everglades Hotel, follow the road under the railway bridge, and just past White Moss Garden Centre, you need to find a spot where there is a gap in the trees to give you a view across to the Power Station. I have found another spot down there, but I will need wellies for this.
