Another shot from Thursday, in Hatchmere Lake. The whole lake is surrounded by Reeds, and the only way in and out is via a little beach, just in front of the green patch of grass in the centre of the shot.
Fabulous Fav, Not sure how the go pro works, does it take stills? I have wanted to look into getting one, guess I have to research how they work. @markp
@rmkgreene Thank you very much Ruth, I have got the new cheaper Go Pro, it takes video, stills, bursts of 5 fps, and a very useful time lapse setting. That is the one i used, it takes 2 shots a second, and i just started it working as i swam across, occasionally turning my head to get views minus hands, and varying the tilt on the head mount to get various POVs. The time it takes me to swim across, does gives you a lot of shots to look through and delete, what i was hoping to catch was one of the large fish I have seen jumping in the past. The time lapse function is also handy for doing selfies showing me swimming and the surroundings, you don't need to hold the button, allowing an easier grip on the camera. I think I will have fun with this.
