When neither side would back down after all the threatening displays went on, suddenly all the birds rushed into each other. Amidst a loud cacophony of squawking, a huge battle began, with much wing flapping, water splashing, viscous head butts and violent kicking.
This chaotic commotion went on for several minutes, it wasn't playing acting or simply posturing, all the combatants appeared to want to do serious harm to their opponents.
