PADDY'S WIGWAM

Rumour has it, that this is the name given by the construction workers to this building. It is more formally known as Liverpool's Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. This, the Roman Catholic Cathedral, stands at one end of Hope Street, at the other end stands the Anglican Cathedral. Unusual fact, the Catholic cathedral was designed by an Anglican and the Anglican cathedral by a Catholic. This is the rear of the cathedral, an interior shot appears on my main 365 album today.

The name is apt - I remember seeing this went I went for an interview at the Uni years ago and it really stood out on the skyline.
