According to the book, the way to attract Goldfinches to your garden is to put up feeders containing Niger seed. This plainly works as I have a flock of up to 20 that visit daily, noisily squabbling over who's turn it is to get on one of the feeders. They also seem to like Sunflower hearts. However either this one has not read the book, or it is just a Rebel. This feeder is well away from the Niger seed ones and contains Peanuts. That did not stop this Goldfinch spending quite a while on this feeder and apparently very happily eating loads of Peanuts.
