BEE ON IVY FLOWER by markp

BEE ON IVY FLOWER

This very large Ivy plant was covered in flowers, and was emitting a very fragrant aroma. This lovely smell was attracting a huge range of insects. Flies, bees, wasps, hover-flies, several day time flying moths, and many butterflies. There were in excess of 20 Red Admirals, as well as Painted Ladies and Tortoiseshell butterflies.
Super shot.

Super shot and a very popular plant for insects it would seem. Australian bees aren't anywhere near as furry as yours.
