This is a night time view looking east up the River Mersey. They are in the process of building a major new road bridge here, and are working around the clock on it now.
They have built a small low level temporary bridge across the river giving them access to the bases of the main legs out in the river. If you look closely and can see the three cranes with the red lights on, this is where the tall legs for the new bridge will be.
