The fairly mild weather seemed to have got these Coots into breeding mode. These three were having a merry old ding dong. I am guessing there are two males and one female. Most of the time it was just two of them fighting, but at times all three joined in. Much splashing, wing beating, kick boxing and attempted drownings taking place.
@gardencat Not really Joanne, one seemed to slope off, leaving the other two alone. Then he kept coming back, and eventually I lost sight of them in the reeds.
