I was given this old Russian built Zenit-E camera, and I thought it might make an interesting subject for a B&W or Record shot in the next Camera Club competition.
I suppose the next thing to do, is see if I can find some Black and White 35mm film.
For the youngsters among you, thats what was used before we had SD cards.
Hah! My first SLR from exactly 50 years ago... and that 58mm Helios lens can still produce great images today - you need to get an adapter and try it on your Sony.
I gave one of these to my husband, during the first year of our marriage, I think he was quite under-impressed and I ended up using a lot more than he did. In fact I guess this is where my interest in photography started.
