@rosiekind Thank you, Rosie, and that's good news. However don't leave it too long, as when the chicks have fledged the adults take them out to sea and very few remain on land.
I am not sure exactly when but it might be as early as the end of July. I went up to Orkney hoping to catch them with beakfuls of fish, however the season starts a bit later up there and they had not started feeding chicks yet. Judging by what's been posted on here, I think things might be a fortnight ahead further south. I would check they will still be there before you travel to Skomer. If you do good luck and they are far more cute in real life.
