I don't know how many of you know this but Puffins spend most of the year out at sea. They come to land in the summer to breed. Unlike many sea birds that just use the cliff ledges, Puffin nest in a burrow. Sometimes it is just beneath jumbled rocks, sometimes a disused rabbit burrow and sometimes they will dig out their own nesting tunnels.
