Beautiful capture, lovely detail. Fav. I'm fairly certain this is a Dunnock, not a sparrow. The beak and markings are different, also the leg colour.

@carolmw Thank you Carol, yes you are quite right, it is a Dunnock, but it is also known as Hedge Sparrow, or even a Hedge Accentor. You are also right that it is not a Sparrow, but actually a member of the Accentor family of birds.

@carolmw Hi, Carol, just had a quick look on Wiki, apparently it is also known in some places as a Hedge Warbler, but it's not a Warbler either. I have never heard it called a Hedge Warbler before, but it does have a nice song. You learn some new everyday. Lol.
