Most of the year, Robins will not tolerate another Robin anywhere near them. They vigorously defend their territories against all comers. However to avoid the numbers dwindling away, at this time of the year they need to be more friendly and find a mate. From their behaviour I would guess this is Mr and Mrs Robin.
