From the right, a male Shoveler, then a brown female Shoveler. A row of Goosanders, and finally at the back left another male Shoveler.
The hide I took this shot from was very full of birders, I discovered there was a Bittern around which had drawn them there.
A Bittern is a very uncommon and very secretive member of the Heron family. Apparently it had been showing very well earlier on, in the bright sunshine, from a bed of reeds behind the little island the ducks are on.
I didn't see it, I didn't really have the time to sit and wait in the slim chance it would reappear.
