This is a Redshank, easy to guess where that name came from. These can be a real pest as you try and creep closer to birds down on the coast or marsh land. Forever vigilant, they are almost always the first bird to take flight, their loud piping call, alerting other birds to possible danger and often result in everything around taking flight.
