I tried shot after shot of these, and apart from when they were on the feeders, they refused to co-operate. Constantly hiding behind branches or leaves, this was the best I got, just missing off the tip of his beak. Must go back and have another go.
Funnily enough I had a siskin on my bird feeder yesterday I haven't seen a Siskin in the garden for years -- not an extremely good shot ( through the Kitchen window !! ) but shall post it when I have up loaded it !
@beryl thanks Beryl. I used to have Siskins in the garden as regular visitors for a few years. Then they tailed off to odd visits during migration times, but not seen one in the garden for two or three years now.
