Trying to get lower to get a better angle photographing the seals I discovered these three Great Black Backed Gull chicks. The Great Black Backed Gull is Britains largest and the parents were not happy that I had strayed so close to their young. They were swooping down at me, I could feel the rush of air as they came down very low over my head.
Having taken a few photographs, I moved away to what I considered to be a safe distance from the chicks but one of the gulls continued to harass me as I photographed the seals.
