This statue is next to an information board at Ardmhor harbour. It is the port used at the northern end of the Isle of Barra by Calmac ferries, to take you over to the Isle of Eriskay.
Apparently Otters are very common along this coast. I didn't manage to see any on Barra, but I did later on into my trip.
