We took my son and his family to Oxford to show where my husband went to university. This was the Great Hall from his college, and it holds some wonderful memories.
@frodob@Dawn@pamalama@randystreat@boxplayer thank you all for your comments. It was quite challenging to get this right with the bright highlights and dark corners. I had to remove a couple of people too! If you have never been to Oxford, all the ancient colleges have superb great halls where the undergraduates eat and for other social engagements. I have just checked that Hogwarts was filmed at Christ's College, Oxford. Cambridge is also not dissimilar.
@kathyladley Yes, many of the UK's Prime Ministers were undergraduates there, including a certain Mr Johnson! I gather the current Dean decided not to put his portrait on the wall as a notable alumni!
