I like the contrast of all the dark metal against the delicate colors in the sky.

@borof It is a pylon, and my local, and therefore favourite pylon! The barbed wire around is to prevent idiots climbing it and getting electrocuted!

The clouds in the background remind me of smoke from fireworks or some sort of explosive. With the barbed wire and dark silhouette of rigid geometric metal, I get a feeling of foreboding. Not sure if that was your intent, but I like it.

@darchibald that is an interesting interpretation and has connotations of war and imprisonment, and I can see what you are saying. Thank you for your interpretation! It was of course the edge of a pylon with the setting sun catching the clouds in the distance!
