I woke early to the sound of a bird chirping on my roof, near the open Velux and then I could hear the geese in flight. This was about 5.30am, and those that know me know I am not a lark! I took this out of the bedroom window with the geese just visible in flight!
These honking geese have something magical and worth getting up for. I always look up when I hear them. They are so nice to announce so we have time to grab a camera….even if they don’t come close.
