I meant to post this at the beginning of December. This is my ancient Enid Blyton Advent Calendar dating from my childhood. I remember this pinned to the wall when I was under the age of 5, so dates back to the mid1950s. Even now when I look at it I have memory of innocent expectation and excitement!
Oh, this brought back memories. I had an Enid Blyton Advent Calendar too. I didn't keep mine though. Mine must have been from around 1954 as we had just moved from Yorkshire to Lancashire after my Dad had died.
@onewing Was it the same one, I wonder? It is Enid Blyton's Christmas Story, illustrate day Fritz Wagner. Unfortunately no date on it. It could well have been 1954, I was born in 1953, but I remember it when I was a little older.
