21 - European Starling bringing home lunch

I have no idea what this bird is. I noticed it feeding chicks in this hole in a tree! I took loads of photos. The bird has something green in its beak but I haven't deciphered that either! When I know what the bird is I will update the title. Those that know let me know!!

Looks a lot like a starling to me. I've never seen them feed in a tree though. It could be feeding babies in a nest in that hole. Nice close up.

I don't know the bird, but maybe it's just carrying something to build the nest.

Found out is it a European starling. I was thrown by the light patterned feathers underneath and it nesting in a tree, but hey ho, just a starling!!

@borof thanks for your comments! It was bringing food back to the nest because I could hear the chicks. On a different photo, I think I have identified the food as human BBQ scraps! We were on a campsite!
