The Destroyed City

'De Verwoeste Stad' in Dutch (1951-1953), by Ossip Zadkine. The scupture represents a man without a heart and symbolizes Rotterdam without its historic heart after the 2nd world war.
Rotterdam is a nice city but the heart never came back if you ask me...
