@kali66 Our starter (photo feb 13) didn't survive. We got a 'working' one from a friend that is doing fine. We went away for a few days last weekend and made two version for an experiment. One was 'sleeping' in the fridge, one was maintained by our son. He did his best but it didn't work out for the best. The cold one however came to live after a day at room temperature!
I'm impressed! That bread looks quite wonderful!!! A loaf of fresh bread doesn't last more than 6 hours under this roof! (Maybe 3 hours is closer to the truth!) I kept a sourdough starter alive for a few years, but it gets tiring to cook with it all the time. Maybe I'm more "modern" than I gave myself credit for!
