Tina's father was part of the Allied liberating army in Nederland. He was in the British Middlesex Regiment, put under the command of the Canadian army, to get rid of the German occupying military from your beautiful country. He was billeted in Huis Doorn at one time. Afterwards he was in Germany, where he met Tina's mother, a refugee. Fortunately England was never invaded.
