I hardly ever go to work by public transport. Once a year, maybe twice... A flat tire (Happy New Year) and the prospect of rain in the afternoon convinced me to take the bus.
Fortunately, this first week has been very quiet. Many people are still on holiday. I had to wait a while before leaving and had a nice conversation with some driver, having a break. He has been very happy with his permanent job since the start of this year. Good for him! He offered me coffee which I couldn't refuse. Today public transport was an excellent start to the day.
Funny, this sign doesn't mean the bus will STOP. The green LEDs indicate you can press the button to let the driver know you want out. It’ll turn red if you do. Pretty confusing actually, those colours.
