The jabroni was browned and smeared with dairy butter by critics

3. Favourite quote

In Dutch: De lulkoek werd bruin gebakken en door critici met roomboter besmeurd.
Quote by, ahum, me...

Sorry, the english translation may be a little less spot-on. The literal translation of 'lulkoek' is prick-cookie :-) It means nonsense or gibberish. An edible version of gibberish could be jabroni I guess. Even though a jabroni is referred to as a person in most cases. At least it sound edable. Haha. Also, ‘baking something too brown’ (bruin gebakken) means ‘going too far’ in Dutch. ‘Browning’ is not exactly the right phrase.

Should I've better used one of the synonyms 'balls', 'rhubarb' or even 'garbage', with another pictorial impression of course. What do you think? Nah. It makes no sense using butter on balls or garbage...

Perhaps it should have been something like: The balls were browned and topped with creamy gravy by critics. Or: The fruitcake was browned and topped with whipped cream by critics.

Anyways. You get the point.
